    Hungry, hungry!

Caterpillars are hungry. If they are awake, they are eating. Provide plenty of host/larval plants for them to eat.

SAVE MONARCHS WITH FREE MILKWEED SEEDS

The Live Monarch Foundation needs your help to plant Milkweed everywhere!

The beautiful Monarch butterfly is declining in numbers. Many of our visitors have reported seeing few or no Monarchs in areas where they had previously been plentiful. The problem is that Milkweeds are at critical levels along the Monarch’s 3000 mile long migration route. The Monarch relies entirely on Milkweed for survival and need your help right now!

Please plant Milkweed seeds. Ask your friends to help.

It takes millions of healthy Milkweed plants to feed millions of caterpillars. We need at least one Milkweed in every yard! Without widespread participation Monarchs will only be seen by a lucky few.

Please do what you can to keep our skies filled with color and allow the Monarchs to bring their special magic to others by your gift of time to plant a seed.

The Live Monarch Foundation (a National Heritage not-for-profit foundation) will send 10+ Milkweed seeds and growing instructions for FREE, just send a self addressed stamped envelope to their address at the bottom of this page. A Save The Monarch donation is greatly appreciated by them to help offset the cost of the many seeds and plants they provide. They will include a donation receipt with your seeds to give you a record of this tax deductible gift. They will send 50 seeds per dollar as a thank you. These same seed packs sell all over the web for $2 – $4 per 10 seeds). They send out Asclepias Curassavica (tropical milkweed / red and yellow flowers). It is a favorite egg laying plant which grows quickly and will sprout many seed pods. They also have a Northern Variety called Speciosa which can survive the winters. Just request the type you want.
Your participation goes a long way to help Monarchs!

Send a self addressed, stamped envelope for FREE seeds to: Live Monarch Foundation – Seeds 3003-C8 Yamato Road #1015 Boca Raton, Florida 33434 OR visit their website below..please NOTE this is a courtesy link only…The Butterfly Farm does not ship seeds!
